We are humbled to be the recipient of a fundraiser that Huntley Cheer Association held to raise money for people who need breast cancer screenings. It was a delight to speak with the girls and coaches to share with them how they have helped uninsured and underinsured people who might otherwise forego screenings. They worked hard and enthusiastically. Julie Campos, pictured below with her daughter and Development Manager Cathy Patenaude, is a breast cancer survivor and she saw a sign for our Care4 Breast Cancer 5K and decided to get involved. She asked the members of the HCA and it took off from there. Amy Kranjovich and Lea Jeanlouis place the hair extensions for free and many people took part in the fundraiser. In all, $600.00 was raised through HCA for the breast fund at the Clinic.
