It is with a heavy heart that we bring news of the passing of Dr. Santo Ruggero of Wonder Lake. Dr. Ruggero was truly one of the health pioneers of the county, and was an inspiration and joy to all who knew him. Dr. Ruggero was our first doctor at the Clinic in Harvard, although he had been retired for several years. He served as the Medical Director for the Board of Health for countless years, and was one of the most beloved physicians in the area. He and his wife, Mary, were strong supporters of the clinic and would stop by regularly to see how we were doing. We send our deepest sympathy to Dr. Ruggero’s family.
