Dear Friends of the Clinic,
This is an unprecedented time. And that’s why I’m reaching out to you, right now. COVID 19 has stressed our community in many ways. People worry about getting sick, and they worry about getting the care they need.
Now imagine the added worry of not being able to pay for healthcare, especially if you’ve just been laid off. This is why our clinic is more important than ever.
Our phones are on overload with people needing healthcare. Patients still need to get medication for chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension, and we need to keep those people healthy and out of our stressed emergency rooms. But we’re hearing from so many people who cannot get care any other way. People who are sick, and who are afraid.
We are doing what we can – filling meds for longer periods, triaging over the phone, but we need to do more. And we need your help. We never budgeted for the number of gowns, masks and gloves we are using in this unprecedented time. We never budgeted for the amount of sanitizers, medications and other supplies we need. We never budgeted to provide testing even for our own healthcare workers on the front lines. Like I said – unprecedented.
You can provide care to those in our community who desperately need it now more than ever.
You can help people stay out of the emergency room.
You can keep our community as healthy as possible.
Your donation today will make that possible. Please donate online through our secure website at Clinic donation . If you prefer, you can call me and give your credit card donation over the phone. (If I don’t answer, I promise to call you back!!)
Thank you for your past support. You’ve made a difference. And together, we will get through this. We are stronger together.
Sincerely.
Suzanne Hoban, Executive Director
