Denis came to the Clinic a few years ago at the urging of a friend. He was first seen for a physical and it was discovered that he had high blood pressure and high cholesterol. The physician started him on a blood pressure medication and referred him to the Clinic’s medication assistance program. On a subsequent visit, he had a screening PSA test. This time, his PSA was very high and he was referred to a urologist and subsequently was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Forty radiation treatments later, Denis was cancer free. “The nurses at the Clinic saved my life.
