The members of the non profit, America’s Cardboard Cup Regatta, donated $1,000.00 to the Clinic and 3 other local non-profits.
The Cardboard Cup Regatta originated in the summer of 1985 as a special event to help raise awareness for a small local sailing club – The Crystal Lake Yacht Club. The first Cardboard Cup Regatta drew a crowd of 2,000 spectators. Enough funds were raised to host the event and to give back to the community. Now celebrating its 32nd year, this annual fun, family event provides annual grants to support local charities, including the Clinic.
