Garden program for patients is a huge success!
Our Community Grows program has been embraced by numerous community members! Each member chose to set aside a couple of rows in their garden to harvest it for the patients at the clinic! We have had over 700 pounds of produce brought in since early July! We are incredibly blessed and thankful for this generous group of volunteer gardeners!
The impact of our Summer Intern
Several local nonprofits benefit from a summer internship program provided through Leadership Greater McHenry County (LGMC). This program brings interested college students into the intricate workings of nonprofits, gives them a look at nonprofit impact and they are assigned projects to complete.
