Job Description - Front Office Assistant
 
Reports To:  Office Manager
Works Closely With:  Nurses, Physicians, Clinical Manager
 
Summary of Duties: 
The Front Office Assistant position works with the front office to help the Clinic run smoothly.
 
Primary Duties:   
Assists in chart preparation daily; Assists with lab results and print labels for letters; Confirm appointments; Assists with copying medical record requests when necessary; Takes messages off phone; Keeps phone logs
 
Secondary Duties:
Check patients out and collect fees; Balances cash drawer and prepares end of day report; Answers phones, makes appointments and directs callers to appropriate staff
 
Additional Skills:  Must be able to speak, read and write in English and Spanish; Excellent communication skills; Good understanding of the Clinic and its mission and role in the community; Team player; Ability to be flexible within the scope of the position; Detail oriented
